The LPVROP Public Safety Service Department
is responsible for various training classes leading
to employment in security, law enforcement, corrections,
and forensic technology. Our security classes (Guard
Card, Firearms Permit, and Baton) are certified through
the California
Bureau of Investigative and Security Services.
Our mandated 40-hour curriculum has been submitted and approved by BSIS. We offer more than 25 classes in public safety including; Executive Protection, Homeland Security, Chemical Agents, Weaponless Defense, Computer Forensics, First Aid, CPR, Cultural Diversity and School Security (Education Code 38001.5).
La Puente Valley ROP Public Safety Classes are well known throughout the security community. We have been in operation for over 26 years. We make a point to listen carefully to our security advisory board. The board is responsible for reviewing and approving the course offerings.
