Before beginning the LPVROP Forensic Science Academy, it is highly suggested that each student complete the following prerequisites: Forensic Science I Liability & Legal Aspects Report Writing Forensic Science I (Semester length class)   Monday & Wednesday September 7, 2009 through Wednesday, January 24, 2010   Meeting time: 6pm - 9 pm (Room# 201/203) Cost: $125 + $25 registration fee   Learn crime scene investigation, photographing of the crime scene, collection and preservation of evidence, fingerprinting techniques including comparison, rolling of prints, pattern identification, and Henry Classification. This semester long course will be offered at the LPVROP Ed Center.   Liability & Legal Aspects (8 hour class) Tuesday/Thursday September 15 & 17 or November 17 & 18   Meeting time: 5 pm - 9 pm (Room# 212) Cost: $55   Report Writing & Communication Skills (8 hour class) Monday/Tuesday - October 19 & 20 Tuesday/Thursday - December 15 & 17   Meeting time: 5 pm - 9 pm (Room# 212) Cost: $55   Registration will take place on the first night of each class.
